Teacherpreneur offers teachers support, time and space to incubate big ideas and execute them in the best interests of their students and their profession. A partnership between PEF and HCDE and modeled after CO.LAB’s 48HR Launch, the Incubator brings together teachers, business people, and community members to launch transformative ideas, growing them into scalable, sustainable programs and businesses.

After a competitive selection process, 8 weeks of planning and an intense 48 hours of pitch preparation, Teacherpreneurs compete for the funding to make those ideas a reality at the Pitch Night in front of the community and judges. Building on the success of the first five cohorts, new, in 2019, we are excited to announce a partnership with Hamilton County Schools and the Benwood Foundation that will bring a second phase of support through Teacherpreneur Accelerator! This new initiative provides an opportunity for successful Teacherpreneur projects to pursue a second round of funding as they work with district partners and the PEF Innovation Hub to scale their work across the district.
